Best Cavern Diving |
One of the reasons this area is considered the best in the world is because of the immense size of the underwater rooms. At no time will your tour take you into a restricted area of the cavern. Before setting out on your first cavern dive, you will be given an extensive briefing on overhead environment diving that includes fining technique, light use, buoyancy control tips and air rules. Let our experienced cavern guides introduce you to this fascinating new world. |

Deep Diving /Cave Diving |

| |
Aquanauts Dive Center offers a unique deep diving experience program that allows you to explore the deep cenotes or sink holes of the Yucatan as well as the walls along the coast. The underwater caves with breathtaking formations and light shows, the colorful coral reefs in front of Puerto Aventuras and the submerged coral walls in the cobalt blue water just off the coast make the area of the Yucatan Peninsula one of the best and warmest technical diving areas. |

| Dive into History |
See Mayan sacrificial pots or drift dive along Cozumel's famous reef system. The prerequisites are an open water certification with reasonable experience and a love of adventure to explore the beauty of history and nature. Part of the deep diving program is to refresh dive theory and the use of dive computers, to give an overview about Mayan lifestyles and beliefs surrounding "cenotes", how such "cenotes" were formed and to give you an insight into technical diving. |
